Services
The Salmo Community Resource Society plans and delivers a range of programs and projects.

Programs:
- Adult Mental Health, funded by the Interior Health Authority, provides one on one and group counselling support for people facing mental health and addiction issues.
- Children's Mental Health, funded by the Ministry of Children and Family Development, provides support for children and youth facing mental health issues.
- Children Who Witness Abuse, funded by the Ministry of Community Services, provides support and counseling to children who have witnessed abuse.
- Community Action Program for Children, funded by Health Canada, provides support to parents of children aged six and under and also facilitates a weekly drop-in, parent-tot interactive play group.
- Family Resource Centre, funded by the Ministry of Children and Family Development, provides resources and support for parents of young children and also facilitates a weekly parent and tot group with on-site childminding.
- Family Support, funded by the Ministry of Children and Family Development, provides support and counseling to families.
- Safe Homes, funded by the Ministry of Community Services, provides support to women and their dependent children fleeing abuse.
- Stopping the Violence, funded by the Ministry of Community Services, provides support and counseling to women who have been victims of violence.
- Victims Assistance, funded by the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General, is an RCMP-based program providing support and information on the Criminal Justice System to victims of crime or tragedy.
Projects:
- Nobody’s Perfect, funded by the Interior Health Authority, provides parenting education courses to parents of young children (six and under). These programs are held once per year, contact SCS for next date and time.
- Food Bank, funded by community donations, provides food support. Open 9:30 to noon on Wednesdays.
- Healthy Living Series, funded by BC Gaming, provides opportunities for healthy community activities.
- Dinners at Home, provides prepared meals for people in need of tasty, nutritious meals with no fuss. Special heart and diabetic meal options available.
- Volunteer Drivers, funded by the Interior Health Authority, provides transportation support for medical and financial appointments.
